Debby and Steve are both local to Yakima. Debby was raised in Cowiche and Steve in West Valley. Debby was a travel agent in Yakima for 14 years, and made arrangements and traveled with many Yakima residents to destinations all over the world during her travel agent career. Steve is a commercial artist and estimator for a local sign company. After owning a restaurant outside of Branson, MO, Debby moved back to Yakima in 2005. Debby believes she was called to open an adult family home and name it Shepherd’s Gate. “It’s my belief that care giving is as much about the care providers as it is about the residents. It is a privilege for us to give of ourselves for the comfort and well being of our seniors.” We place the highest priority on optimum health, safety, and independence for our residents, providing resident’s families with the peace of mind that their loved one is well cared for.
